Vivo prepares a new smartphone for buyers who value long battery life. The company will launch the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia on September 3. Its large 10,000mAh battery forms the main attraction. Vivo calls this its first global launch with such a high-capacity battery. The Vivo Y600 Pro already offers the same size battery in China.
The Malaysian version shows a flat-frame design. It also uses a flat rear panel. The phone should arrive in black, green and pink colours. A square camera module sits on the back and holds a 50MP primary camera. Design and specifications for any future India model may differ from this version.
An image of the phone earlier appeared on an Indian retailer’s Instagram account. This sighting raises the chance of an India launch. However, Vivo has not announced any official date for the Indian market yet.
The 10,000mAh battery stands as the clearest highlight. Such capacity can support longer daily use. Users who watch videos, play games or browse online may benefit most. Still, real battery life also depends on the processor, display, software and network conditions. The large cell may increase the phone’s weight and thickness. Buyers will therefore weigh design comfort against endurance.
Several other specifications have appeared in reports. The phone may carry a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination can deliver smoother scrolling and clearer visuals. The rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 32MP front camera should handle selfies. Additional features may include Aura Light, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Moreover, the V80 Lite 5G may receive IP68 and IP69 ratings. These ratings would show strong resistance to dust and water under test conditions. Users should still follow the maker’s guidance on water exposure.
Processor details remain unclear. Some reports name the Dimensity 7360 Turbo. Other sources point to the Dimensity 7300e. Charging speed also lacks confirmation. Earlier information suggested 90W fast charging. More recent reports mention 44W support. Vivo must clarify these points before final assessment.
Overall, the large battery, high-refresh display and 50MP camera could attract users who want strong endurance and everyday media performance. The September 3 launch in Malaysia will reveal exact specifications and pricing. Indian buyers must wait for an official statement from Vivo about any local release.
