CMF launches the Buds Neo true wireless earbuds in India. Sales begin later this month. The earbuds use 12.4mm dynamic drivers. They provide up to 35dB Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation. This feature reduces background noise. Four microphones work with Clear Voice Technology during calls.
The earbuds also include spatial audio. Users can customise EQ settings. They support dual-device connectivity. A 120ms low-latency mode helps gaming. The Nothing X app adds extra controls and sound options.
CMF prices the Buds Neo at Rs 1,999 in India. Buyers can choose Black, White or Dark Blue colours. The earbuds go on sale from August 26. Shoppers can buy them on Flipkart. They are also available at Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.
The Buds Neo feature 12.4mm dynamic drivers. These drivers use a titanium-coated PET dome and PEEK plus PU surround. They support a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response. The earbuds handle AAC and SBC codecs. They offer static spatial audio. Six EQ presets are available. These include Immersion Boost, Pop, Rock, Electronic, Enhance Vocals and Classical. Users can also create custom EQ profiles. They can adjust Bass Enhancement through the Nothing X app.
The earbuds deliver up to 35dB Adaptive ANC. Three noise cancellation levels are offered. Four HD microphones sit on the earbuds. Two microphones go on each side. They work with Clear Voice Technology for clearer calls.
For connectivity, the Buds Neo use Bluetooth 6.0. They support dual-device connection. They also include Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. The earbuds work with Android 6.0 and later. They support iOS 13 and later through the Nothing X app. A 120ms Low Latency Mode is available for gaming.
Each earbud holds a 45mAh battery. The case carries a 460mAh battery. Playback lasts up to 11 hours per earbud. The case extends this to 52 hours when ANC stays off. With ANC enabled, total music playback drops to 30 hours. Each earbud provides up to five hours of call time with ANC off. Combined call time reaches up to 25 hours. A 10-minute charge gives up to 5.5 hours of playback. A full charge takes around 70 minutes via USB Type-C.
The earbuds use touch controls. Users can customise them in the Nothing X app. Double-tapping skips to the next track or rejects a call. Triple-tapping skips to the previous track. Holding the touch area switches between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes. Pressing and holding adjusts the volume. Holding both earbuds for five seconds activates pairing mode.
The Buds Neo earbuds carry an IP54 rating. The charging case is rated IPX2. This protects against water exposure. The case measures 54.3mm by 54.3mm by 23mm. It weighs 50.3g. It has a dual-tone finish. The body is square-shaped. It includes a circular tactile dial and a built-in lanyard hole.
