The Vivo X500 series is expected to launch in China soon. The company has not yet confirmed its next flagship lineup. However, rumours suggest the series could include three models. These are the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Max.
An alleged sighting has offered an early look at one of the Pro models. Someone reportedly spotted a Vivo X500 Pro handset during an advertisement shoot. Taiwanese singer and actor Jay Chou appeared in the filming session in Melbourne. He held what sources claim is a Vivo X500 Pro series phone.
A Weibo user named Wang Tengxiao shared the image. Neither the brand nor Chou has confirmed the device’s identity. Still, the photo strongly suggests it belongs to Vivo’s next-generation flagship range. Chou had earlier endorsed the Vivo X300 Ultra during his 2026 Carnival World Tour in China.
Vivo has not announced an official launch date. Rumours point to a possible China debut in September. The expected lineup currently includes the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. An earlier leak also mentioned a possible X500e model. It remains unclear whether all four phones will arrive together.
The Vivo X500 Pro Max appeared on China’s 3C certification website under the model number V2602DA. The listing showed support for 90W wired fast charging and 5G connectivity. Reports suggest the phone will feature a 6.85-inch LIPO flat display. The screen may offer 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The device could pack an 8,000mAh battery. It is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. On the camera side, rumours point to a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-838 primary sensor. A 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens may complete the setup. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor has also been mentioned.
