Samsung has launched the Galaxy Quantum 7 as its latest smartphone in the market. The phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chipset. The company has paired this processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. A 5,000mAh battery supports fast charging. The rear side includes a triple camera setup. Several other features complete the package.
Samsung has released the Galaxy Quantum 7 in South Korea. According to Seoul Economic Daily, the phone is priced at KRW 717,200, or about Rs. 49,600. Colour options include Awesome Gray, Awesome Ice Blue and Awesome Lilac. Buyers can purchase it through SK Telecom.
The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display supports Full HD Plus resolution. The 120Hz refresh rate is designed to make scrolling appear smoother. The phone runs One UI 8.5. Samsung has also added Awesome Intelligence features. These include Circle to Search, AI Eraser, Best Face and Edit Suggestions.
The rear camera setup has three sensors. The main camera is a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera sits beside it. The third camera is a 5-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone uses a 12-megapixel front camera.
The Exynos 1680 chipset handles daily performance. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 5,000mAh battery is said to last up to two days. Fast charging is also available. Knox Vault provides added security. An IP68 rating offers dust and water resistance under supported conditions. Charging and wired connections use a USB-C port.
Samsung says the phone will receive six years of OS upgrades. It will also get six years of security updates. Reports suggest the device is a rebranded version of the Galaxy A57 5G.
