Samsung and Xiaomi Raise Device Prices Again in India
Samsung and Xiaomi have increased prices of their popular devices in India. The hike affects mid‑range Galaxy phones and the Xiaomi Pad 8 tablet.
Samsung Galaxy M17 5G, Galaxy F17 5G, Galaxy F70e 5G, and Galaxy M17e 5G all cost more now. Prices rose by ₹1,000 to ₹3,000 depending on RAM variants. For example, the Galaxy M17 5G models with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM saw separate increases. The Galaxy F17 5G also became costlier by ₹1,000 to ₹2,000.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi Pad 8 faced its second hike in two months. The base 8GB + 128GB model now starts at ₹38,999. The top 12GB + 256GB version is listed at ₹43,999. This marks a jump of ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 compared to June.
Both companies had raised prices earlier this year. Samsung adjusted Galaxy A, M, and F series phones in March. Xiaomi lifted Pad 8 prices in June.
These repeated hikes highlight rising costs in India’s tech market. Consumers must now pay more for devices launched only months ago.
