Asus Pad Launches in India: Specs and Pricing

Asus has made the Pad available for purchase in India. The company first launched this Android tablet at Computex 2026 in June.

The device comes in two RAM and storage configurations. It features a 12.2-inch 2.8K OLED display that reaches up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Moreover, a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset powers the tablet. A 9,000mAh battery supports extended use.

The Asus Pad is now on sale through Flipkart, the Asus eShop, ROG Stores, Reliance Digital, and authorised retail partners. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 45,990. Meanwhile, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at Rs. 49,990.

Shoppers can use Asus Easy Pay offers. The company provides up to 12 months of No Cost EMI, starting at Rs. 3,833 per month.

The tablet runs on Android 16. Its 12.2-inch OLED screen delivers a 1,840 x 2,800-pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel also achieves a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Typical brightness stands at 600 nits, while High Brightness Mode reaches 2,000 nits. In addition, the display works with the Asus Pen 2.0 and newer models.

A MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor pairs with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options go up to 256GB of UFS 3.1. The tablet includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity features cover Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. Four speakers support Dolby Atmos for 360-degree audio.

A 9,000mAh lithium-polymer battery powers the device. It supports 45W fast charging. Asus claims the battery can reach 50 percent charge from empty in just 30 minutes.
