Samsung is lining up the Galaxy S27 series as the next flagship family. Early certification data suggest the standard and Plus models may keep the same wired charging speeds as today’s phones. China’s 3C database has listed two Samsung 5G devices under the numbers SM-S9520 and SM-S9560. Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared the entries on X. The filings do not print the retail names. Those codes are widely expected to map to the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Plus.
The SM-S9520 listing shows 5V/2A, 9V/1.67A, and 9V/2.77A. Those profiles point to a peak of about 25W. The SM-S9560 listing adds 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A on top of the same lower profiles. That mix points to a peak of about 45W.
Those figures match the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus. Samsung has kept 25W on the regular Galaxy S phone since the Galaxy S20 in 2020. A confirmed 25W S27 would stretch that run to seven years. The Galaxy S22 Plus moved to 45W in 2022. A 45W S27 Plus would then be the fifth year at the same rate.
The gap inside Samsung’s own range would look sharper. The Galaxy S26 FE already supports up to 45W. The Galaxy S26 Ultra moved to 60W earlier this year. The S27 Ultra and a rumoured S27 Pro could still receive faster bricks. This leak does not cover those models.
Other rumours sit beside the charger figures. Samsung may add built-in magnets for MagSafe-style accessories. Wireless charging may stay at 15W on the standard S27 and 20W on the Plus. None of this is official. Certification amps describe what the hardware can accept. They do not prove the final software limit. Shoppers should wait for Samsung’s launch sheet before treating 25W and 45W as locked.
