Asus Returns to Indian Tablet Market with Powerful New Asus Pad
Asus is making a strong comeback in India’s tablet segment after nearly a decade. The company has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated Asus Pad T3201.
The sleek new tablet will debut on August 6 at 12 PM IST. Customers will find it available on Flipkart, the Asus eShop, Asus and ROG Stores, Reliance Digital, and authorized retail partners across the country. Pricing details will be revealed closer to the launch.
Impressive Display and Performance
The Asus Pad T3201 boasts a stunning 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED screen. It offers a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, and full DCI-P3 color coverage. The display also includes TÜV-certified Low Blue Light and Low Flicker protection. Additionally, it supports the Asus Pen 2.0 stylus for creative work and note-taking.
Under the hood, a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset drives the device. It comes paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage. Users can expand storage further up to 1TB using a microSD card. The tablet also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless connectivity.
Camera, Audio, and Battery Life
For photography and video calls, the Asus Pad features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with Face Unlock support. On the audio side, a premium quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos delivers rich 360-degree cinematic sound.
The tablet packs a massive 9,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. According to Asus, it can reach 50 percent charge in just 30 minutes. Despite its large battery, the device remains slim at just 6.5mm thick and weighs only 523 grams.
