Microsoft allows for greater synergy between a Windows PC and a smartphone, letting users reply to text, receive and make calls and check their phone notifications directly from the computer. The Phone Link app on PC, which syncs both Android phones and iPhone with Windows, also lets users share files between devices. Now, Windows is making file sharing from PC to Android more streamlined.

As part of the new Windows Insider Preview, Microsoft is rolling out the ability to quickly share content to an Android phone from a share window on Windows PC. With the feature, hitting share on a file will now show up a quick share window that will display the user’s Android phone that has been paired with the PC.

Bewakoof has collaborated with Google Cloud to bring the latter’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning capabilities to its platform. The Indian brand unveiled the partnership at the Google Cloud Summit India, 2024. Bewakoof said it is using technologies such as Gemini AI to enable the creation of new content, including text, images, and code for the platform. One particular user-focused feature will be an AI T-shirt designing tool that lets users generate custom artwork.

Google’s AI-powered photo-editing feature – Magic Editor – is now arriving on Samsung smartphones and older Pixel devices. The feature was first introduced with the company’s Pixel 8 lineup of smartphones and remained exclusive to them for a while. However, Google in April announced that many of the photo-editing features powered by artificial intelligence (AI) would be making their way to other Android smartphones too and would be available via the Google Photos app.

Marshall Minor IV was launched in India on Thursday. The company’s latest pair of true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and dual microphones. They support multipoint Bluetooth connectivity and can be configured via the Marshall Bluetooth application. The earphones also have touch-enabled controls that help users control music playback as well as answer or reject calls. They also support a customizable equalizer that offers a personalized experience. The earbuds arrive with an IPX4 water resistance rating and are offered in a single colorway.

Marshall Minor IV price in India is set at Rs. 11,999 and will be available for sale via the official Marshall website starting June 15, according to the company. The company’s audio products are also available for purchase via retail stores in the country.

Wipro, the multinational IT services and consultation company introduced the Lab45 AI platform on Tuesday. The artificial intelligence (AI) platform is an enterprise-focused suite aimed to help its clients gain higher efficiencies across business functions. It leverages generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies to offer customized business solutions. The company has made the Lab45 AI platform available to all of its customers and employees. Notably, Wipro said that the platform has been tested by limited external clients and employees in the past six months.

Announcing the platform in a newsroom post, Subha Tatavarti, the Chief Technology Officer at Wipro, said, “Our Lab45 AI Platform is a testament to Wipro’s commitment to innovation and productivity. We are excited about the transformative impact this platform will have across the business, particularly in HR, sales, marketing, and other business functions. Our platform will help our customers innovate faster while balancing privacy and responsible AI.”

Lab45 AI platform operates on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and offers multiple AI agents and large language models to its customers. The platform is said to feature more than 100 AI agents and more than 10 generative AI models. Further, it offers no-code and low-code pre-built applications for various business functions such as Human Resource (HR), sales, marketing, and operations. Enterprises can also create industry-specific AI agents and applications based on their needs.

Google Pixel Watch 3 is expected to launch later this year as a successor to the Pixel Watch 2, which was introduced in October 2023. The purported smartwatch has previously tipped to come in two size options and feature a buttonless design. The Pixel Watch and Watch 2 were only launched in a single case and display size. A new report has now leaked design renders of the Pixel Watch 3 hinting at its dimensions. The leak also suggests the battery details of Google’s upcoming smartwatch.

IPO of Walmart’s Flipkart marketplace and PhonePe digital payments platform could take a couple of years, a Walmart executive said.

“This is something we’re looking at over the next couple of years,” Walmart’s executive vice president for corporate affairs, Dan Bartlett, said on the sidelines of the company’s shareholder meeting near its Bentonville, Arkansas, headquarters, late on Thursday.

Walmart may put an initial public offering of PhonePe ahead of Flipkart, even though Flipkart is a more mature business, Bartlett told Reuters.

Xiaomi 14 Civi is set to launch in India on June 12. The company has teased several key features of the upcoming handset previously. The design and colour options of the phone have also been revealed. It has been tipped to be a rebadged version of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, which was introduced in China in March this year. Ahead of the launch, a tipster has leaked the possible price as well as the expected RAM and storage variants of the Xiaomi 14 Civi.

Adobe announced the general availability of the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) AI assistant on Thursday. The AEP is a customer experience management platform using which businesses can monitor and analyse customer data and execute marketing campaigns for their products and services. The platform’s AI assistant was first previewed at the Adobe Summit in March 2024 and now it is available to businesses globally. The AI chatbot comes with analytical and content-generation capabilities to help automate certain operation workflows for businesses.
