Iyo One earbuds have emerged as the latest contender to take on the challenge of implementing artificial intelligence (AI) in a wearable form factor. This will be the California-based startup Iyo’s second audio device and the first that aims to integrate AI chatbots within it. However, the company is not pitching it simply as an AI device, as the Iyo One can also function as a standalone device to listen to music and podcasts. Currently, the earbuds are open for pre-order and the company’s website highlights that it will be shipping it globally once launched.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G has been launched in India on May 27, Monday. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and packs a 5,000mAh battery. It also gets a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is offered in two colour options with vegan leather finishes. The Samsung Galaxy F55 is claimed to be the lightest and slimmest vegan leather phone in its segment in India.

The 8GB + 128GB option of the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is listed at Rs. 26,999 in India, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced at Rs, 29,999 and Rs. 32,999, respectively. The handset is offered in two color options – Apricot Crush and Raisin Black. It will be available for Early Sale in the country starting at 7pm IST on May 27 via Flipkart.

Asus ROG Ally X is expected to be unveiled within the next couple of weeks and the specifications of the handheld gaming console have been leaked online ahead of its debut. It will arrive as an updated version of the first-generation ROG Ally, instead of a successor, and the details of the handset suggest some highly requested hardware improvements are coming to the ROG Ally X. These include an improved battery and more, higher-bandwidth memory that should boost the device’s performance.

Alphabet’s Google will pick up a minority stake worth $350 million in Walmart-backed Flipkart, valuing the Indian e-commerce firm at $37 billion, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters.

Google and Flipkart were not immediately available to confirm the value of the investment.

The tech giant will join in as an investor in the latest funding round for the Bengaluru-based company, Flipkart said in a statement.

Sony seems to be working on a new platform for free-to-play mobile games, according to details revealed via a PlayStation job listing. The job listing for the role of a Mobile Platform Architect mentions that the position requires designing PlayStation’s platform for “developing, publishing, and operating free-to-play mobile games.” The development comes after Microsoft announced that it would launch an Xbox mobile store in July.

The PlayStation job listing, spotted by TweakTown, reveals some details about Sony’s plans for mobile gaming. According to the listing, PlayStation Studios Mobile is seeking an experienced software engineer, who would lead the design and implementation of Sony’s mobile games platform. The individual would also have to work with internal teams to connect mobile games to existing PlayStation services.

Microsoft Edge will soon support real-time translation of videos on several platforms, the company announced on Tuesday (May 21). It was announced just a day after the company introduced its Copilot+ PCs, which are also capable of translating pre-recorded as well as live videos in real-time. Leveraging generative AI, Microsoft says the upcoming feature can not only translate captions on Microsoft Edge but also dub videos in the viewer’s native language – all in real time.

The real-time video translation feature will be able to translate spoken content in the form of captions as well as dubbing. It is aimed at making videos accessible to a wider range of people, especially to those with disabilities. Microsoft says the feature is currently able to translate English to five languages – Hindi, German, Spanish, Russian, and Italian. Furthermore, it can also translate Spanish to English.

Poco F6 Pro is set to launch globally on May 23 alongside the base Poco F6. The company had previously teased the design of the upcoming handsets and has now confirmed some key specifications and features of the phones including chipset, display, charging, and camera details. Poco has also revealed the colour options of the smartphones. Days before the launch, a leaked unboxing video of the Poco F6 Pro has now surfaced online giving us a glimpse at the phone and its packaging.

Poco confirmed that the Poco F6 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of onboard storage. It is said to offer an AnTuTu score of 1,642,770. The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W HyperCharge support and a WQHD+ Flow AMOLED screen. It will also carry a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary rear image sensor.

Microsoft plans to release the coming installment of the “Call of Duty” videogame to its subscription service, in a departure from its longtime practice of only selling the title independently, a source familiar with the matter said on Friday.

The move is expected to be announced at the company’s annual Xbox showcase, scheduled for June 9, the person said on the condition of anonymity as the plans are private.
