CMF Phone 1 will feature a Super AMOLED display with support for HDR and a high refresh rate, the company confirmed via a social media post on Wednesday. The handset is scheduled to launch during Nothing’s next Community Update on July 8 and will be the first-ever mobile device from CMF – the company’s sub-brand. Ahead of its launch, CMF said that it will reveal one component of the smartphone every day leading up to the launch day, starting with the display specifications.

Genesys International, the Mumbai-based mapping, survey, and geospatial solutions company, launched artificial intelligence-powered navigation maps on Monday. The map encompasses 83 lakh kilometres across India. The company claims it was built specifically for the automotive and mobility industries of the country and will help build personalised driving experiences and offer location intelligence. Alongside this, the company also introduced several products which are built on top of the navigation maps. These include Navigation with Augmented Reality (AR), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA).

Synthesia 2.0
Synthesia introduced Synthesia 2.0, an artificial intelligence (AI) video communications platform for businesses, on Monday. The AI platform will allow users to generate studio-quality videos with AI avatars just by posting the video script. The platform has also launched two different styles of AI avatars, including an Expressive AI Avatar that can be given a personality and can use a full range of body language such as head, eye, and hand movements. The AI firm says users can customise the video elements to include their brand identity as well.
The AI firm unveiled the AI platform and showcased its features. The Synthesia 2.0 platform features two types of personal AI avatars, an AI Video Assistant, AI Screen Recorder, and an interactive video player that can be personalised as per the brand’s preference. The platform’s AI avatars are trained on the company’s in-house Express-1 AI model.

Moto S50 Neo is scheduled to launch alongside the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra on June 25. Ahead of the debut, Motorola has released multiple teasers revealing the design and specifications of the phone. The Moto S50 Neo is confirmed to arrive with a four-year warranty. It is confirmed to run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and will pack a 5,000mAh battery. The Moto S50 Neo is expected to launch in international markets as the Moto G85.
The Lenovo sub-brand announced that the Moto S50 Neo will get a four-year warranty. This warranty includes a standard one-year warranty and a complimentary three-year extended warranty. Many Android phones sold in the market offer one or two years of warranty.

Amazon Alexa
Amazon is planning a major revamp of its decade-old money-losing Alexa service to include a conversational generative AI with two tiers of service and has considered a monthly fee of around $5 to access the superior version, according to people with direct knowledge of the company’s plans.
Known internally as “Banyan,” a reference to the sprawling ficus trees, the project would represent the first major overhaul of the voice assistant since it was introduced in 2014 along with the Echo line of speakers. Amazon has dubbed the new voice assistant “Remarkable Alexa,” the people said.
The sources include eight current and former employees who worked on Alexa and who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss confidential projects

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced signing a new deal with US-based Xerox on Friday. This deal expands the strategic partnership between the two companies and will let TCS build a cloud-native and generative artificial intelligence (AI) led digital platform for Xerox. The Mumbai-based IT giant will also create a cloud-first operating model to help the enterprise transform its business processes to drive sustainable growth. The new platform will have generative AI capabilities that it can integrate into its workflows.
In a press release, TCS said that it has struck a deal with Xerox that will let it deliver an “end-to-end transformation” programme to speed up the transition of the company to a “simplified, services-led, software-enabled organization.” Notably, Xerox is currently transitioning to a digital-first operation model to handle its enterprise-based operations more efficiently.

Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless
Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless truly wireless (TWS) earphones have been launched in India. They come with an ergonomic design and offer features like active noise cancellation (ANC), multi-device pairing, and Sennheiser’s proprietary sound features. The Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless get 7mm dynamic drivers and offer a dedicated transparency mode for noise reduction. They use Bluetooth LE Audio and are claimed to deliver up to 28 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless earphones are compatible with the Sennheiser Smart Control app and support both wired and wireless charging.
Sennheiser Accentum TWS earphones are priced at Rs. 12,990 in India and are available in Black and White shades. They are currently up for purchase in the country via Amazon, Sennheiser’s official website and Flipkart. The new earphones come with a two-year warranty.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14
Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2024) was launched in India on Wednesday and the latest gaming laptop from the Taiwanese PC giant is equipped with AMD’s Ryzen 9 8945HS processor alongside 16GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. Asus says the laptop features a customised cooling system and sports a 14-inch OLED panel with 3K resolution. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 runs on Windows 11 Home out-of-the-box and packs a 73Wh battery. It was originally showcased at CES 2024 in January.
Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 price in India starts at 1,74,990 and it is offered in a single Grey colourway. It will be available for purchase via the Asus online store, Amazon, Flipkart and other offline retail stores, according to the company.

HP EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X
HP EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X – two devices under HP’s AI PCs category – are set to launch in India soon, the company announced on Wednesday. Both AI PCs will be built on the latest ARM architecture and will be powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chipset, supporting an array of artificial intelligence (AI) features. HP says these laptops will be the first devices to support the HP AI Companion for performance optimisation and management of on-device AI tools.
HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC is available for pre-booking in India starting at Rs. 1,53,399 through HP partners or via the HP Online Store. On the other hand, the HP OmniBook X is priced at Rs. 1,39,999 and can be pre-booked via HP World stores, HP Online store, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales.
HP AI PCs come bundled with 25GB of free Dropbox storage for 12 months from the date of registration.

JBL Live Beam 3
JBL Live Beam 3 was launched in India on Tuesday, months after the truly wireless stereo (TWS) headset was unveiled at CES 2024. It offers support for active noise cancellation using six microphones, and Hi-Res Audio playback with JBL Spatial Sound. The wireless headset features a Smart Charging Case with a 1.45-inch touch screen that offers volume and equaliser controls, along with support for viewing messages and taking phone calls. JBL claims that the Live Beam 3 can deliver up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge, while the case can be charged wirelessly.
JBL Live Beam 3 price in India is set at Rs. 24,999, according to a press release issued by the company. However, the Amazon listing for the product currently lists the device at Rs. 13,999. The JBL Live Beam 3 is available in Black, Blue, and Silver colour options.
