Oppo Launches Reno 16t in China With 200MP Camera and 6,700mAh Battery

Oppo has launched the Reno 16t in China. It is the third phone in the mid-range Reno 16 lineup, after the standard and Pro models. The handset is on sale through Oppo’s China website. Three colours and two memory options are offered. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8000-series chipset powers the phone. A triple rear camera is led by a 200-megapixel main sensor. The battery is 6,700mAh. RAM reaches 16GB. Storage reaches 512GB.

The 12GB + 256GB model starts at CNY 3,699, or about Rs 53,000. The 16GB + 512GB model costs CNY 4,499, or about Rs 64,000. Colours are Galaxy Purple, Heartbeat, and a dark finish translated as The Moonlit Night is Dark.

The Reno 16t is a dual-SIM phone. It ships with ColorOS 16 on Android 16. The screen is a 6.32-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel at 1,216 x 2,640 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 460 ppi, full DCI-P3 coverage, 1.07 billion colours, 240Hz touch sampling and peak brightness up to 1,800 nits. The screen-to-body ratio is listed at 93.4 percent. Oppo claims IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection.

The processor is a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chip. Peak clock speed is 3.4GHz. Graphics come from an ARM G720 MC8 GPU. Top models use up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The lower model uses 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Unlock options include an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

The rear cameras include a 200-megapixel f/1.8 main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel f/2.0 ultrawide with a 116-degree field of view, and a 50-megapixel f/2.8 telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. The front camera is 50 megapixels with autofocus. Video recording reaches 4K at 60fps.

The 6,700mAh battery supports 80W wired charging. Connectivity includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and USB-C. Satellite systems listed are BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC. Sensors include proximity, ambient light, colour temperature, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope and an IR blaster. The phone measures 151.21 x 72.42 x 8.36 mm and weighs about 191 g.

India availability and local pricing have not been announced.

Leaked Images Show Samsung Galaxy Buds on Clip Design

Samsung’s rumoured Galaxy Buds On have appeared in a new leak. The images give a closer look at design and fit. They also hint at extra features. Samsung has not confirmed any of this yet.

Android Headlines published two photos. One shows the earbuds on an ear. The shots look like product renders. It is unclear whether they came from Samsung.

The leak shows a two-piece clip. The wider inner piece holds the speaker. The outer piece rests on the outside of the ear. A curved link joins the two halves. A microphone is also visible.

Audio technology is still in dispute. The new report says the Buds On may use open-ear air conduction. Earlier leaks pointed to bone conduction. Samsung has not said which system it will use.

Head gestures may be part of the kit. A nod or a head shake could trigger actions. Those actions may be customisable. The leak does not list them.

Automatic volume is another claimed trick. The earbuds may raise sound in a noisier place. Voice assistants may be built in as well. The report names Bixby and Google Gemini. Sleep detection is also rumoured. Playback could pause if the wearer falls asleep.

All of these details remain unofficial. The clip-on shape is the clearest part of the leak. A Samsung launch will have to settle the rest.

Vivo V80 India Price Leak Puts Box MRP Near Rs. 1.2 Lakh

A price claim for the Vivo V80 has surfaced before the India launch. Vivo has not announced official pricing yet. The company has already confirmed several hardware and camera details.

Tipster Ahsan Kharbai (@AHSANKHARBAI) says the 8GB + 128GB model will carry a box MRP of Rs. 1,19,999. Box MRP is usually higher than the street price. The same leak says the phone will still launch above Rs. 60,000.

The tipster also lists unconfirmed internals. Those claims include a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The leak further points to an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. IP68 and IP69 ratings are mentioned as well. Vivo has not officially confirmed that chipset or memory combo.

Confirmed specs are clearer. The V80 will use a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display. The panel will run at 144Hz and reach up to 5,000 nits local peak brightness. OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, will ship on the phone. The body uses one-piece cold-carved glass and a floating camera module.

Zeiss tunes the cameras. A 50-megapixel OIS main sensor leads the set. A 50-megapixel night telephoto lens sits beside it. A 50-megapixel group selfie camera handles the front. Vivo says the system supports 3x optical zoom and up to 100x zoom. It can record 4K cinematic video and 4K at 60fps. Extra tools include AI Creative Camera, Live Sticker Collage, and AI Diwali Portrait 2.0.

Battery capacity is 7,200mAh. Charging is rated at 90W FlashCharge. Vivo claims up to 14 hours of navigation and 39.5 hours of local video playback.

The India launch is set for October 6 at 12pm IST. Colour options are Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black. Sales will run through Vivo’s India site, Amazon, Flipkart, and offline stores. Official pricing should arrive with that event.

Vivo Launches Y600i in China With 8,000mAh Battery

Vivo has added the Y600i to its mid-range Y series. The company unveiled the phone in China on Friday. Online sales will start next week through Vivo’s China store.

The phone goes on sale on September 30. Vivo is offering one memory option only. That variant pairs 6GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. The launch price is CNY 1,999, or about Rs. 29,000.

Buyers can choose from three colours. Those finishes are Baby’s Breath, Clear Blue, and Polar Night Black.

A 6.87-inch HD+ LCD sits on the front. The panel runs at up to 120Hz. It uses a 720 x 1,592 resolution, a 19.9:9 aspect ratio, and a claimed 90.91 percent screen-to-body ratio. Vivo also says the phone carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.

A 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset powers the handset. The octa-core setup uses two performance cores at up to 2.2GHz and six efficiency cores at 1.95GHz. An Adreno 613 GPU handles graphics. Storage uses UFS 2.2. OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, ships on the phone. Dual SIM support is included.

Security covers two methods. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner sits on the frame. Face unlock is also available.

The rear camera is a single 50-megapixel unit. It uses an f/1.8 aperture, a CMOS sensor, autofocus, and up to 10x digital zoom. Up front, an 8-megapixel selfie camera works at f/2.05 with up to 2x digital zoom. Video recording tops out at 1080p.

Battery capacity is 8,000mAh. Wired charging is rated at 44W. Connectivity includes 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and several satellite systems. An IR blaster is on board as well.

The phone measures 169.55 x 79.2 x 8.69mm. It weighs about 229g. Vivo has not announced an India launch yet.

Mivi Launches First Smartphone, the One 5G, in India

Mivi has launched its first smartphone in India. The Mivi One 5G uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. Memory options reach 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone has a 6.745-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A 50-megapixel rear camera is included. Five colour options are offered. Sales begin in October.

The 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs 14,999. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs 15,999. The 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs 16,999. Colours are Blue, Burgundy, Pink, Green and Navy Blue. The first sale is set for 8 October on Flipkart.

During Flipkart Big Billion Days the company has confirmed lower effective prices. The 4GB + 128GB variant starts at Rs 11,999. The 6GB and 8GB versions are listed at Rs 12,999 and Rs 13,999. Those tags include sale cuts and bank offers.

Jio buyers will receive extra digital perks. These include 12 months of Canva Pro, one month of Hotstar Mobile + Hollywood, 18 months of Google Gemini Pro with 5,000GB of Google Cloud storage, and 50GB of Jio AI Cloud storage.

Mivi offers a one-year warranty. The brand says after-sales cover more than 500 service centres. Free pick-up and drop is available across more than 19,000 PIN codes.

The phone runs Pure Android 16. Mivi has promised updates through Android 18. The 6.745-inch HD+ screen uses 2.5D cover glass. The 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Mivi cites an AnTuTu score of about 490,000.

The rear camera is a 50-megapixel primary sensor with PDAF plus an unspecified second lens. An 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. ClearTalk, powered by Mivi’s Neural Voice Engine, is said to cut traffic, wind, talk and music noise during calls.

Oppo Launches Enco X4 Earbuds in China at CNY 1,199

Oppo has launched the Enco X4 wireless earbuds in China. The pair arrived with the Find X10, Find X10 E, and Find X10 Pro Max. The buds use 11mm dynamic woofers and 6mm tweeters. They support Hi-Res Audio Wireless, lossless audio, and active noise cancellation. Bluetooth 6.1, dual-device pairing, and an IP55 rating are included. Oppo claims up to 53 hours of total playback.

The Enco X4 costs CNY 1,199, or about Rs. 17,100. Colours are Pink Gold, Soft White, and Titanium Grey. Pre-orders are open. Shipping starts September 24.

Each bud combines an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. Frequency response is listed from 10Hz to 40kHz. Supported codecs include AAC, SBC, LHDC, and LC3. The buds also handle 48kHz/24-bit lossless audio and spatial audio.

Noise cancellation has deep, medium, light, transparency, and adaptive modes. Oppo says the system can cut up to 99.8 percent of everyday noise.

Calls use four microphones: three silicon mics and one VPU mic. Oppo lists four-microphone AI call noise reduction. Bluetooth 6.1 has a stated range of up to 10 metres. Dual-device connectivity is supported. The buds work with Android and iOS.

Each earbud has a 65mAh battery. The case has a 576mAh battery. With AAC and noise cancellation off, Oppo claims up to 13 hours from the buds and up to 53 hours with the case. With LHDC, those figures fall to 10 hours and 42 hours.

The case supports USB Type-C and wireless charging. Wired charging takes about 55 minutes for the buds and about 65 minutes for the case. Wireless charging takes about 2.5 hours.

Each bud weighs 5.6g. The case weighs 41.8g. Combined weight is 53g. Earbud size is 32.11 x 18.19 x 21.03mm. Overall packed size is 63.40 x 49.50 x 25.55mm. The buds have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

MediaTek Unveils Dimensity CX C10 Max for Premium Googlebook PCs

MediaTek launched the Dimensity CX C10 Max on Tuesday. It is the first chip in the company’s Dimensity Compute Experiences family. The platform targets slim, high-end Googlebook devices.

The processor uses a 3 nm process. It combines an eight-core CPU, an 11-core GPU, and MediaTek’s NPU 890. The firm says the design can support fanless laptops and all-day battery life. The on-chip AI engine is meant to run Gemini Intelligence and local agent-style tasks.

The CPU uses only large Arm cores. One Cortex-X925 core reaches up to 3.73 GHz. Three Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores sit beside it. The chip also includes 12 MB of L3 cache and 10 MB of system-level cache.

Graphics come from an Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU with 11 cores. MediaTek says the 3 nm node helps brands build thinner machines without fans.

Memory support covers LPDDR5X up to 9,600 Mbps. Storage support includes UFS 4.0. An internal panel can run at up to 4K and 60 Hz. Devices can also drive two external screens through DisplayPort and Multi-Stream Transport.

Video hardware can decode 4K at 60 fps in 10-bit HEVC, AVC, VP9, and AV1. Recording support includes 4K at 60 fps in 10-bit HEVC and AVC, plus 4K 60 fps 8-bit encoding.

AI is a main selling point. MediaTek rates the NPU 890 at up to 55 TOPS. It handles INT8, INT16, FP16, and BF16 data. The company says this can power Gemini features on coming Googlebook models.

The Imagiq 1090 image processor supports cameras up to 32 megapixels. It adds electronic stabilisation, HDR video, and AI-assisted auto zoom.

Wireless options include Wi-Fi 7 at up to 7.3 Gbps and dual-engine Bluetooth 6.0.

MediaTek has not named the first laptops yet. It has only teased an upcoming premium Googlebook. Full device details should follow from PC brands.

Vivo’s Unannounced Y600K Turbo Shows Up on Google Play Console

A new Vivo mid-ranger may be close to launch. The company has not confirmed the Y600K Turbo yet. However, the phone has now appeared on the Google Play Console.

The listing uses model number V2553A and device code PD2553. Those identifiers already belong to the Vivo Y600 Turbo. That model went on sale in China in May. Therefore, the Y600K Turbo could simply be a renamed version. It may arrive with different memory options or fresh colours.

The console entry lists a 1,260-by-2,800-pixel screen. Density sits at 480 dpi. The chip appears as Qualcomm’s QTI SM7635. Its main core tops out at 2.80 GHz. That points to either a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 or a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.

One variant shows 12 GB of RAM. The software listing points to Android 16 from day one. Reports also link the phone to a possible China launch beside the Vivo Y500K. That event could land in October.

For context, the original Y600 Turbo started at CNY 2,299 in China. That price equals about Rs 32,000 for the 8 GB plus 256 GB model. It used a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip. Memory reached 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 50-megapixel sensor led a dual rear camera. The phone carried a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. A 9,000 mAh battery supported 90 W wired charging.

Vivo still has not named the Y600K Turbo. Specs and timing can change. For now, the Play Console listing is the clearest public clue.

Oppo Teases Enco X4 Ahead of September 22 Global Launch

Oppo has previewed the Enco X4 before its global launch on September 22. The company has shown the earbuds’ design, colours, and several audio and noise-cancellation features. The true wireless pair uses stem-style buds and an oval charging case. Oppo also highlighted Dynaudio tuning and AI translation. The Enco X4 debuts next week.

Oppo confirmed the timing on Weibo. The launch is set for 7pm local time, or 4:30pm IST. Pre-orders are already open on Oppo’s online store and on JD.com, Tmall, and Douyin.

The buds sit in a rounded, oval case with Oppo branding. Promotional images show three finishes: Pink Gold, Soft White, and Titanium Grey.

Oppo says human-voice noise reduction is 250 percent better than the previous generation. It also claims a 200 percent improvement in overall environmental noise reduction. The earbuds will use a 6nm chip and an AI noise-cancellation algorithm. Two-way AI call noise cancellation is listed for environments up to 110dB.

Sound comes from a fourth-generation Dynaudio coaxial dual-driver system with dual DACs. Oppo says full-frequency distortion is 20 percent lower. The company also claims lossless audio transmission, with a transfer rate up to 400 percent higher than the last generation.

The Enco X4 will support AI real-time translation for two-way conversations. The feature works through a paired smartphone and can translate between languages. Full specifications and pricing should arrive at the September 22 event.

Mivi will launch the One 5G in India next week. Flipkart will sell the phone. The brand is already teasing the camera and after-sales plan. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chipset will power the handset. Three colour options are confirmed.

New posts on X focus on the cameras. The One 5G will use a dual rear setup. A 50-megapixel sensor leads that pair. Mivi has not named the second rear camera yet.

Mivi has confirmed a Snapdragon 5G platform. The exact chip name is still missing. Some reports place the phone near Rs. 15,000. That price is not official yet.

The One 5G will be Mivi’s first smartphone. The company is better known for earphones, soundbars, and other audio gear.
