Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 Glasses Drop Below Rs. 18,000 in Amazon Sale Deal
India’s smart glasses market has grown steadily in recent years. Buyers can now choose from several models for different uses. Homegrown brands such as Pebble and Lenskart offer glasses with built-in cameras for on-the-go capture. The Ray-Ban Meta glasses remain the most popular option. They keep a conventional eyewear look and add a camera, speakers, microphones, and Meta AI.
Meta’s first-generation glasses are already on discount ahead of the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale. The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 Wayfarer in Large Shiny Black is listed at Rs. 22,425 on Amazon. The usual retail price is Rs. 29,900. Eligible bank cards add a flat Rs. 5,000 instant discount. That offer needs a minimum purchase of Rs. 10,000. Together, these cuts bring the price to Rs. 17,425.
The listing also shows an SBI card offer that takes the effective price to Rs. 15,425. Other frame and lens options cost slightly more. Buyers should confirm the final amount at checkout.
Ray-Ban Meta glasses launched in India in 2025 at a starting price of Rs. 29,900. That price covered select Skyler and Wayfarer variants in Shiny Black. A Wayfarer Matte Black option is priced at Rs. 32,100. Skyler Chalk Grey and another Wayfarer Matte Black design cost Rs. 35,700.
The glasses use a 12-megapixel camera and an LED light. The light also shows when video recording is live. Users can capture photos at 3,024 x 4,032 pixels. They can record 1080p video for up to 60 seconds and share it on Facebook and Instagram. A five-microphone system supports first-person livestreams on those apps.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform powers the glasses. They include 32GB of storage. Meta AI handles hands-free tasks through a “Hey Meta” prompt. Users can ask the glasses to identify a song through Shazam. They can also play music from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music.
Meta says the glasses last up to four hours on one charge. The charging case adds about 32 hours. The frames carry an IPX4 rating. Therefore, the current Amazon deal cuts a large share off the launch price for buyers who want camera glasses with built-in audio and Meta AI.
