Vivo Launches X Fold 6 Book-Style Foldable Smartphone in China
Vivo introduced its latest book-style foldable phone on Friday. The Vivo X Fold 6 arrived during the company’s June 2026 event. This new device features a distinctive circular rear camera module.
The Vivo X Fold 6 offers a large 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED display on the inside. It also includes a 6.51-inch cover screen. Additionally, the phone runs on a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset.
Battery and Charging
The foldable packs a massive 7,000mAh battery. It supports fast 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. These specifications make the device suitable for heavy users who need all-day power.
Pricing and Availability
Vivo priced the base variant of the X Fold 6 at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,11,000). This model offers 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Higher configurations reach up to CNY 10,999 (about Rs. 1,53,000) for the 16GB + 1TB version. A special Black Gold Edition costs CNY 11,299 (roughly Rs. 1,57,000).
The phone will go on sale in China starting July 1. It comes in attractive colours including Blue Hole, Polar Night, and Salt Lake.

The Vivo X Fold 6 runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 Fold. It boasts excellent display quality with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support on both screens. Moreover, the device carries IP58 + IP59 ratings for strong dust and water resistance.
For photography, it features a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system. The setup includes a 200-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization. It also has a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Users can capture up to 8K videos with this impressive setup.

The powerful 3nm Dimensity 9500 Super chipset delivers smooth performance. The phone offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Furthermore, it weighs around 228 grams and maintains a slim profile when folded.
