OnePlus Launches Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro Smartphones in China
OnePlus has introduced two new smartphones in China. The company launched the OnePlus Turbo 6X and the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro. Both models feature powerful MediaTek Dimensity Super series chipsets. They offer 144Hz refresh rates and focus on large batteries. However, they differ in display technology, battery size, camera setup, and durability.
The standard OnePlus Turbo 6X comes with a 7,000mAh battery and an LCD panel. In contrast, the Turbo 6X Pro boasts a larger 8,000mAh battery, an AMOLED display, and stronger protection ratings.
OnePlus priced the Turbo 6X at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 26,800) for the 8GB + 128GB version. Higher variants cost CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 28,100) and CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 32,300). Buyers can choose from White, Green Cloud, and Starry Black colours.
Meanwhile, the Turbo 6X Pro starts at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 28,100) for the base model. Other configurations are priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 29,500) and CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs. 33,700). It is available in Heartbeat Orange and Prancing Horse Black options.
Both phones are now open for pre-orders in China. They will go on sale starting June 15.
The Turbo 6X features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits brightness. Additionally, the Turbo 6X Pro offers a bigger 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 6,500 nits peak brightness. Both models support DC dimming and work well with gloves, wet hands, or oily fingers.
Furthermore, the standard model runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset. The Pro variant uses the more powerful Dimensity 7400 Super SoC. Both phones support up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Turbo 6X also allows TF card expansion up to 2TB.
For cameras, the Turbo 6X includes a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP front camera. On the other hand, the Pro model adds optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP selfie camera.
Battery performance stands out in both devices. The Turbo 6X supports 45W fast charging. The Pro model offers faster 80W charging along with its larger 8,000mAh cell.
The Turbo 6X carries an IP64 rating and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the Pro version delivers superior durability with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. It has also passed multiple military-grade tests.
Additionally, the Pro model includes useful AI tools such as translation, writing assistance, and voice note generation. It also provides gaming enhancements like custom commands and voice changer features.
This launch strengthens OnePlus’s position in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment. The phones combine strong performance with practical features for everyday users.
