    Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced signing a new deal with US-based Xerox on Friday. This deal expands the strategic partnership between the two companies and will let TCS build a cloud-native and generative artificial intelligence (AI) led digital platform for Xerox. The Mumbai-based IT giant will also create a cloud-first operating model to help the enterprise transform its business processes to drive sustainable growth. The new platform will have generative AI capabilities that it can integrate into its workflows.

    In a press release, TCS said that it has struck a deal with Xerox that will let it deliver an “end-to-end transformation” programme to speed up the transition of the company to a “simplified, services-led, software-enabled organization.” Notably, Xerox is currently transitioning to a digital-first operation model to handle its enterprise-based operations more efficiently.

  • Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless

    Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless truly wireless (TWS) earphones have been launched in India. They come with an ergonomic design and offer features like active noise cancellation (ANC), multi-device pairing, and Sennheiser’s proprietary sound features. The Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless get 7mm dynamic drivers and offer a dedicated transparency mode for noise reduction. They use Bluetooth LE Audio and are claimed to deliver up to 28 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless earphones are compatible with the Sennheiser Smart Control app and support both wired and wireless charging.

    Sennheiser Accentum TWS earphones are priced at Rs. 12,990 in India and are available in Black and White shades. They are currently up for purchase in the country via Amazon, Sennheiser’s official website and Flipkart. The new earphones come with a two-year warranty.

  • Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

    Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2024) was launched in India on Wednesday and the latest gaming laptop from the Taiwanese PC giant is equipped with AMD’s Ryzen 9 8945HS processor alongside 16GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. Asus says the laptop features a customised cooling system and sports a 14-inch OLED panel with 3K resolution. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 runs on Windows 11 Home out-of-the-box and packs a 73Wh battery. It was originally showcased at CES 2024 in January.

    Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 price in India starts at 1,74,990 and it is offered in a single Grey colourway. It will be available for purchase via the Asus online store, Amazon, Flipkart and other offline retail stores, according to the company.

  • HP EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X

    HP EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X – two devices under HP’s AI PCs category – are set to launch in India soon, the company announced on Wednesday. Both AI PCs will be built on the latest ARM architecture and will be powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chipset, supporting an array of artificial intelligence (AI) features. HP says these laptops will be the first devices to support the HP AI Companion for performance optimisation and management of on-device AI tools.

    HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC is available for pre-booking in India starting at Rs. 1,53,399 through HP partners or via the HP Online Store. On the other hand, the HP OmniBook X is priced at Rs. 1,39,999 and can be pre-booked via HP World stores, HP Online store, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales.

    HP AI PCs come bundled with 25GB of free Dropbox storage for 12 months from the date of registration.

  • JBL Live Beam 3

    JBL Live Beam 3 was launched in India on Tuesday, months after the truly wireless stereo (TWS) headset was unveiled at CES 2024. It offers support for active noise cancellation using six microphones, and Hi-Res Audio playback with JBL Spatial Sound. The wireless headset features a Smart Charging Case with a 1.45-inch touch screen that offers volume and equaliser controls, along with support for viewing messages and taking phone calls. JBL claims that the Live Beam 3 can deliver up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge, while the case can be charged wirelessly.

    JBL Live Beam 3 price in India is set at Rs. 24,999, according to a press release issued by the company. However, the Amazon listing for the product currently lists the device at Rs. 13,999. The JBL Live Beam 3 is available in Black, Blue, and Silver colour options.

    Microsoft allows for greater synergy between a Windows PC and a smartphone, letting users reply to text, receive and make calls and check their phone notifications directly from the computer. The Phone Link app on PC, which syncs both Android phones and iPhone with Windows, also lets users share files between devices. Now, Windows is making file sharing from PC to Android more streamlined.

    As part of the new Windows Insider Preview, Microsoft is rolling out the ability to quickly share content to an Android phone from a share window on Windows PC. With the feature, hitting share on a file will now show up a quick share window that will display the user’s Android phone that has been paired with the PC.

    Bewakoof has collaborated with Google Cloud to bring the latter’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning capabilities to its platform. The Indian brand unveiled the partnership at the Google Cloud Summit India, 2024. Bewakoof said it is using technologies such as Gemini AI to enable the creation of new content, including text, images, and code for the platform. One particular user-focused feature will be an AI T-shirt designing tool that lets users generate custom artwork.

    Google’s AI-powered photo-editing feature – Magic Editor – is now arriving on Samsung smartphones and older Pixel devices. The feature was first introduced with the company’s Pixel 8 lineup of smartphones and remained exclusive to them for a while. However, Google in April announced that many of the photo-editing features powered by artificial intelligence (AI) would be making their way to other Android smartphones too and would be available via the Google Photos app.

    Marshall Minor IV was launched in India on Thursday. The company’s latest pair of true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and dual microphones. They support multipoint Bluetooth connectivity and can be configured via the Marshall Bluetooth application. The earphones also have touch-enabled controls that help users control music playback as well as answer or reject calls. They also support a customizable equalizer that offers a personalized experience. The earbuds arrive with an IPX4 water resistance rating and are offered in a single colorway.

    Marshall Minor IV price in India is set at Rs. 11,999 and will be available for sale via the official Marshall website starting June 15, according to the company. The company’s audio products are also available for purchase via retail stores in the country.

  • Wipro Lab45 AI platform

    Wipro, the multinational IT services and consultation company introduced the Lab45 AI platform on Tuesday. The artificial intelligence (AI) platform is an enterprise-focused suite aimed to help its clients gain higher efficiencies across business functions. It leverages generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies to offer customized business solutions. The company has made the Lab45 AI platform available to all of its customers and employees. Notably, Wipro said that the platform has been tested by limited external clients and employees in the past six months.

    Announcing the platform in a newsroom post, Subha Tatavarti, the Chief Technology Officer at Wipro, said, “Our Lab45 AI Platform is a testament to Wipro’s commitment to innovation and productivity. We are excited about the transformative impact this platform will have across the business, particularly in HR, sales, marketing, and other business functions.     Lab45 AI platform operates on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and offers multiple AI agents and large language models to its customers. Enterprises can also create industry-specific AI agents and applications based on their needs.
