iQOO and Motorola have offered a first look at their next flagship smartphones at India Mobile Congress 2026 in New Delhi.
Both the iQOO 16 and Motorola Signature 27 will run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset.
The chip is built on a 2nm process.
Neither brand has announced pricing or availability in India yet.

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 16 will launch in India soon.
It follows the phone’s September debut in China.
The Indian variant will use the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 Mobile Platform as the Chinese model.
The chipset includes a next-generation Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for AI-powered features.

The iQOO 16 will also be the first phone from the brand to ship with OriginOS 7 out of the box.
The software is expected to bring productivity-focused tools and intelligent features.
iQOO has not shared the Indian variant’s price, launch date, or full specifications.
However, the Indian model is expected to keep several key features from the Chinese version.

Motorola showcased the Signature 27 at the event and confirmed its upcoming India launch.
The flagship will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset.
It will also feature the company’s ArcticMesh Cooling System and a six-antenna setup for better network reception.

For cameras, the Signature 27 will include a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The setup adds 3.5-axis optical image stabilisation, Qualcomm Electronic Image Stabilisation, and Motorola’s Video Enhancement Engine.

Motorola claims the Signature 27 is the first smartphone to feature Audio by Bang & Olufsen.
It will offer Google Gemini integration and run Android 17.
The brand has promised seven years of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates.
The phone will come in Pantone-certified Coal Smoke and Capulet Olive finishes.

More details on the Motorola Signature 27, including its launch date, are expected in the coming days.
