Lava has launched the Bold N4 Lite in India. It joins the company’s Bold smartphone series as a new budget model.
The phone features a 6.56-inch display. A Unisoc 9863A chipset powers the device. It includes a 5,000 mAh battery. The handset runs Android 16 Go and comes with 3 GB of RAM plus virtual RAM support.
An 8-megapixel rear camera handles photography. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor provides security. The phone also carries a MIL-STD-810H durability rating.
Lava has priced the Bold N4 Lite below Rs 8,100. Sales will begin next month on Amazon.
The 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant costs Rs 8,099. A special launch price of Rs 7,999 applies at the start. The phone goes on sale on Amazon from September 3 at 12 pm IST. It comes in Empire Gold and Ghost Silver colours.
Lava also offers Free Service at Home. This service provides doorstep after-sales support across India.
The 6.56-inch display pairs with 3 GB of RAM and up to 3 GB of extra virtual RAM. Internal storage stands at 32 GB and can expand up to 64 GB. The phone ships with Android 16 Go Edition. Lava states the software contains no bloatware and will receive two years of security updates.
The rear camera is an 8-megapixel AI unit. A 5-megapixel front camera supports selfies and video calls. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 10W wired charging. A single speaker handles audio.
For comparison, the earlier Lava Bold N2 Lite launched in April at Rs 7,399. That model has a 6.75-inch HD+ 90 Hz display and runs Android 15 Go on the same Unisoc 9863A chipset. It offers 3 GB RAM, 64 GB storage expandable to 512 GB, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging. Its camera setup includes a 13-megapixel AI dual rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, along with a 3.5 mm audio jack.
