Xiaomi Pad 8 Price Hike in India: What You Need to Know

Xiaomi Increases Price of Pad 8 Tablet in India

Xiaomi has quietly raised the price of its Xiaomi Pad 8 in India. The company launched the tablet in March this year. Now, all variants carry a Rs. 2,000 hike. This change reflects rising component costs and global chip shortages.

Revised Prices in India The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model now costs Rs. 35,999. Previously, it was available at Rs. 33,999.

The higher 12GB RAM + 256GB variant now sells for Rs. 38,999, up from Rs. 36,999. When bundled with the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro, the price rises to Rs. 43,999.

Additionally, the Nano Texture display model with 12GB + 256GB storage now costs Rs. 40,999. Earlier, customers could buy it for Rs. 38,999. The bundle with the Focus Pen Pro now stands at Rs. 45,999.

Xiaomi has already updated these prices on its official Indian website.

Key Specifications The Xiaomi Pad 8 runs on Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It features an 11.2-inch 3.2K resolution display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches up to 800 nits peak brightness. Users can choose between a standard glossy panel or the anti-glare Nano Texture version.

Moreover, the tablet comes with Xiaomi HyperOS 3. It offers up to 12GB LPDDR5T RAM and up to 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. A large 9,200mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. For photography, it includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

The device delivers rich audio through a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res support. Users can enhance productivity with the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro, which provides over 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity. They can also connect a keyboard to enjoy a laptop-like experience.

Recently, several other brands like OnePlus, Poco, and Lava have increased prices of their mid-range devices in India. The Xiaomi Pad 8 price revision follows this trend.

This tablet continues to offer strong performance and premium features. However, customers planning to buy should check the latest prices. The Xiaomi Pad 8 remains a competitive option in the premium Android tablet segment.
