Vivo Y600 Pro with Massive 10,000mAh Battery Teased for Launch in China
Vivo is preparing to launch the successor to its popular Y500 Pro smartphone. The company has officially teased the new Vivo Y600 Pro. This upcoming phone brings several notable changes, especially in battery size and camera design.
Huge Battery and New Design
Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo Y600 Pro will feature an impressive 10,000mAh battery. This is a significant upgrade over the 7,000mAh battery in the previous model. The larger battery will offer much longer usage time for users.
In terms of design, the phone adopts a round rear camera island, similar to its predecessor. The camera module appears surrounded by a stylish gold-coloured ring. Vivo also shared a purple colour option for the device. The phone features a flat rear panel with an LED flash placed in the top-left corner. It also comes with a flat frame and standard button placement on the right side.
Camera and Hardware Details
The Vivo Y600 Pro will sport a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with a premium aspheric lens. However, this marks a downgrade from the 200-megapixel main camera found on the Vivo Y500 Pro. The phone will also include an LED flash for better low-light photography.
Successor to Vivo Y500 Pro
The Vivo Y500 Pro was launched in China in November 2025. It started at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 22,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Higher variants were priced up to CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 32,000).
For comparison, the Y500 Pro offered a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits brightness. It was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and came with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone featured a 200-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
What to Expect
The Vivo Y600 Pro focuses on battery life and a fresh design. While it reduces the primary camera resolution, the massive 10,000mAh battery makes it attractive for users who need all-day power.
Vivo is expected to announce the full specifications, pricing, and availability of the Y600 Pro soon in China. More details will likely be revealed in the coming weeks.
