Ai+ Nova Flip 5G Launched in India as Affordable Clamshell Foldable
Ai+ has introduced its first clamshell foldable smartphone in India. The company launched the Ai+ Nova Flip 5G on Thursday alongside the Nova 2 5G series. This new device brings foldable technology at a more accessible price point.
The Ai+ Nova Flip 5G features a 6.9-inch AMOLED inner display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It also includes a compact 3.1-inch AMOLED cover screen on the outside. The phone runs on Android 15 with the company’s NxtQ OS on top.
Pricing and Availability
The Ai+ Nova Flip 5G is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It comes in a stylish Glacier White colour. The phone will go on sale in May via Flipkart. The company is yet to announce the exact sale date.

The Nova Flip 5G delivers vibrant visuals on its main display. The 6.9-inch AMOLED panel offers a high resolution of 2790 x 1188 pixels, 443 ppi density, up to 1,200 nits brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. It also supports 10-bit colour depth and advanced 2160Hz PWM dimming.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This combination ensures smooth performance for daily tasks and multitasking.
For photography, the device features a 50-megapixel main rear camera. It supports up to 10x digital zoom and works well even in hover or partially folded positions. A 2-megapixel depth sensor helps capture beautiful portrait shots. On the front, users get a 32-megapixel camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.
The phone packs a 4,325mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging. It also complies with PD3.0 and PPS charging standards. Additional features include dual 5G SIM support, Bluetooth, NFC, OTG, and GPS with L1 and L5 bands. For security, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Ai+ Nova Flip 5G measures just 7.2mm thick when folded and weighs only 193 grams. This makes the device comfortable to hold and easy to carry.
