OnePlus Nord 6 Launch Confirmed for April 7 in India
OnePlus is all set to launch its next Nord series smartphone in India on April 7. The company is expected to introduce the OnePlus Nord 6 and the Nord CE 6. Although OnePlus has not revealed full details yet, leaks and reports have given a clear picture of the upcoming device.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is likely to come with several impressive features. According to leaks, it will pack a massive 9000mAh battery. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. This powerful processor can deliver up to 165 frames per second in demanding games.
Moreover, the device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It will offer high brightness and better dimming technology. OnePlus is also testing a new “Tri-Chip” setup. This system aims to improve touch response and network performance.
On the camera front, the Nord 6 may include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor with optical image stabilization. It will be paired with a 2-megapixel secondary lens. For selfies, a 16-megapixel front camera is expected.
Additionally, the smartphone will support LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. It may also come with an IP rating for better durability. The device will support 80W fast charging and reverse wired charging.
OnePlus is expected to offer the Nord 6 in three attractive colours. These are Holographic Quick Silver, Low-Reflection Pitch Black, and Fresh Mint.
As for pricing, leaks suggest the OnePlus Nord 6 will start above Rs 35,000 in India. This places the phone in the upper mid-range segment, which is higher than previous Nord models.
