Oppo is preparing to launch its new K15 Pro series in China. The company has officially confirmed that the smartphones will arrive on April 1. Oppo will introduce the Oppo Watch X3 Mini on the same day. They will also launch the Oppo Enco Clip 2 with the phones.
The Oppo K15 Pro series includes two models — the standard Oppo K15 Pro and the Oppo K15 Pro+. These devices target mobile gamers. Teasers shared by the company reveal that both models come with active cooling fans. This feature helps maintain performance during long gaming sessions.
Moreover, Oppo will launch the Oppo Watch X3 Mini, a more compact version of the recently released Oppo Watch X3. The company will also introduce the Oppo Enco Clip 2 earbuds. These earbuds are tuned by the Danish audio brand Dynaudio for better sound quality.
According to leaks, the Oppo K15 Pro may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. It is expected to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display. The phone will also include a 50-megapixel rear camera and a large battery for extended usage.
Oppo recently launched the K14 series in India. However, it remains unclear whether the new K15 Pro models will be available in India soon.
The predecessor to this series, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro, offered strong gaming performance. It featured a vapour chamber cooling system. It also had high water resistance ratings. The K15 Pro series aims to improve upon that foundation with better cooling and powerful hardware.
Overall, the upcoming launch on April 1 shows Oppo’s focus on the gaming segment in China. The addition of the smartwatch and audio accessories makes the event more exciting for consumers. More details about specifications and pricing are expected on the launch day.
