Dell has introduced its new Pro Precision workstation lineup in India. The fresh portfolio includes the Pro Precision 5 series in 14S, 16S, 14, and 16 variants. It also features the Pro Precision 7 series in 14 and 16 models along with the Pro Precision 7 T1 workstation.
Pricing and Availability
The Pro Precision 5 series starts at Rs. 1,49,000 in India. The Pro Precision 7 series begins at Rs. 2,25,000, while the Pro Precision 7 T1 starts from Rs. 89,000. Customers can already purchase most of these models. However, the Pro Precision 5 series 14S and 16S variants will go on sale from August 10.
Key Specifications
The Pro Precision 5 series offers both 14-inch and 16-inch display options. The 14S and 16S models come with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors. They support up to 64GB of high-speed memory and include ISV certification. The 14S model weighs only 1.4 kg, making it Dell’s thinnest and lightest workstation yet. It features a premium three-sided aluminum design.
The Pro Precision 5 14 and 16 variants run on powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processors with a 50 TOPS NPU for AI tasks. These models support optional Nvidia RTX Blackwell graphics, fast memory, and large storage capacities. Battery options vary by model to suit different user needs.
The Pro Precision 7 series delivers even higher performance. The 14-inch version weighs 1.59 kg and supports up to Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 graphics. The 16-inch model offers stronger processors and up to Nvidia RTX PRO 3000 graphics. It also provides massive storage options and larger battery capacity.
Dell designed the Pro Precision 7 T1 as a compact workstation. It features Intel Core Ultra processors with a dedicated NPU and supports Nvidia RTX Pro graphics. All new models include modern connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 7, optional 5G, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and advanced security features like TPM 2.0.
New AI Solutions
Alongside the workstations, Dell launched the Deskside Agentic AI solution. This tool helps organizations run open-weight AI models locally on their workstations. The company claims it can reduce costs by up to 87 percent compared to cloud services over two years.
Dell also introduced the Pro Max series with GB10 and GB300 configurations. These powerful systems target advanced AI prototyping and heavy workloads.
The new Pro Precision portfolio targets professionals who need reliable performance for demanding creative and technical tasks. Dell aims to strengthen its position in India’s growing workstation market with these launches.
