Motorola has launched the Edge 70 in India.
The launch took place on Monday.
It is the latest phone in the Edge series.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
It packs a 5,000mAh silicon carbon battery.
Fast charging is a key highlight.
The phone supports 68W wired charging.
It also supports 15W wireless charging.
Motorola claims long battery life.
The Motorola Edge 70 features a 6.7-inch display.
It uses a 1.5K AMOLED panel.
The refresh rate goes up to 120Hz.
Peak brightness reaches 4,500 nits.
The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen.
The handset runs Android 16.
It comes with Hello UI on top.
Motorola promises three Android upgrades.
Four years of security updates are also confirmed.
The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings.
It also meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards.
For performance, it has 8GB LPDDR5x RAM.
Storage is set at 256GB UFS 3.1.
Only one variant is available.
The Motorola Edge 70 includes Moto AI features.
These include Next Move and Catch Me Up 2.0.
Other tools focus on productivity and recall.
On the camera side, the phone has a triple rear setup.
The primary sensor is 50 megapixels with OIS.
A 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera is also included.
The camera module is square-shaped.
A three-in-one light sensor is present.
Video recording goes up to 4K at 60fps.
On the front, the phone has a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
AI photo and video enhancement features are supported.
Action shots get AI assistance as well.
The Motorola Edge 70 has an aluminium frame.
It is just 5.99mm thick.
The phone weighs around 159 grams.
In India, the price is set at Rs. 29,999.
This is for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model.
A Rs. 1,000 bank discount is also available.
The phone will go on sale from December 23.
It will be available via Flipkart.
Sales will also start on Motorola’s website and offline stores.
The Motorola Edge 70 comes in three Pantone colours.
These are Bronze Green.
Gadget Grey and Lily Pad are also offered.
