OnePlus Open 2 May Launch in Late 2025 with Snapdragon 8 Elite
OnePlus is expected to launch its second-generation foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open 2, in the second half of 2025. This comes after the company skipped releasing a successor to the original OnePlus Open in 2024.
The OnePlus Open 2 will likely be a rebranded version of the upcoming Oppo Find N5. A tipster suggested this. The device is rumored to arrive in early 2025. If this is true, the OnePlus Open 2 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line processor.
The OnePlus Open 2 might launch in the second half of 2025. If it does, the Snapdragon 8 Elite would only serve as the flagship chipset briefly. This is because Qualcomm typically unveils its new Snapdragon processors at its annual summit in October.
