The Infinix Hot 50 Pro was launched in global markets. It is the latest 4G offering by the brand owned by China’s Transsion Holdings. The new Hot series phone comes in three colour options. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G100 SoC. This is coupled with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The Infinix Hot 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch display and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The new smartphone has an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance and boasts a 50-megapixel rear camera unit.

Price and sale details of Infinix Hot 50 Pro are yet to be announced. It is available in Glacier Blue, Sleek Black, and Titanium Grey colors.

Honor Magic 7 series was teased on Monday. This happened at Snapdragon Summit 2024, Qualcomm’s annual launch event for its next-generation flagship mobile chipset. The smartphone maker has confirmed that the Honor Magic 7 lineup will feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The chipmaker unveiled this processor. Honor has also revealed some of the artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of its upcoming smartphone. These include an open ecosystem enabled by an on-device AI agent. The smartphone also offers improved mobile gaming that uses the NPU for rendering graphics.

At the ongoing Snapdragon Summit 2024, the smartphone maker made an announcement. They stated that the Honor Magic 7 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This chipset is equipped with second-generation custom Oryon CPU cores from Qualcomm. It also comes with a dedicated Hexagon neural processing unit (NPU) and an upgraded AI image signal processor (ISP).

Amazfit Up open-ear true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones were unveiled on October 18 in select global markets. The open-ear design allows the drivers to direct sound toward the ear canal without obstructing it. This design enables users to stay aware of their surroundings. They come with a clip-on design that is claimed to help them stay in place. The earphones have an IPX4 rating for splash resistance and can be paired with Amazfit smartwatches. The newly merged Disney-Reliance business in India will stream all live sporting events. These events will be available only on Disney’s Hotstar app. This includes popular Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket. Three sources familiar with the matter told Reuters this information.

The decision marks the first major integration of the businesses. The signal is clear that billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance holds a majority of the new venture. Reliance doesn’t plan to shut the Disney platform. However, it is unclear if Hotstar might be rebranded.

It will be available in Black, Blue, and silver colorways in several countries. These include Bangladesh, UAE, Russia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Pakistan. It will also be in Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, Egypt, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. There’s no word from Vivo on plans to launch the handset in India.

Huawei Watch GT 5 has been launched in India as the latest smartwatch from the Chinese company. The wearable is available in 46mm and 41mm sizes. Both variants are equipped with an AMOLED screen and a rotating crown. They also feature various sensors that enable functions such as sleep analysis and pulse wave arrythmia analysis. The 46mm model can offer up to 14 days of battery life. The smaller variant can run for up to seven days on a single charge. This information is according to the company.
