Vivo T3 Ultra was unveiled in India on Thursday as the latest T series smartphone from the Chinese tech brand. The new handset boasts a curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and carries a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main rear camera. The Vivo T3 Ultra has a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset under the hood. It packs a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The same rear camera, battery and chipset are also available on the premium Vivo V40 Pro.

Vivo T3 Ultra is priced at Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB model. The 8GB RAM + 256GB model and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage models have a price tag of Rs. 33,999 and Rs. 35,999, respectively. It is available in Frost Green and Lunar Gray colors. The handset will go on sale starting September 19 at 7:00pm through Flipkart, Vivo’s e-store, and retail outlets.

OpenAI Strawberry, a rumoured new artificial intelligence (AI) model with enhanced reasoning and mathematical problem-solving capabilities, will reportedly be released by the end of September. As per a report, the new AI model will be launched within ChatGPT as well as be included in a separate offering. Earlier this year, the AI firm was rumoured to be working on this new generative AI technology which can think and solve complex tasks that require multi-step problem solving. Notably, Strawberry is said not to be the next generation of GPT but a separate model with added features.

iPhone 16 price in India starts at Rs. 79,900 for the base model with 128GB of storage, and the handset is also available in 256GB and 512GB storage variants that are priced at Rs. 89,900 and 1,09,900, respectively.

Price of iPhone 16 Plus model starts at Rs. 89,900 for the 128GB model while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 99,900. Customers can also purchase the handset with 512GB of storage for Rs. 1,19,900.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are sold in Black, Pink, Teal, Ultramarine, and White colors and will be available to preorder starting September 13. The handsets are scheduled to go on sale via Apple’s online store in India on September 20.

Cryptocurrency market on Monday, September 9, was largely profitable, with most digital assets recording gains. Ether followed Bitcoin’s trajectory to reel-in minor gains of under one percent on Indian exchanges in the last 24 hours. With this, the value of ETH has come to the mark of $2,460 (roughly Rs .2.06 lakh).

The Nintendo Switch’s successor will reportedly support backwards compatibility. A reliable games industry insider claimed earlier this week that the Switch 2 would play games released on the previous generation console. Nintendo confirmed earlier this year that the Switch 2 would be announced next year. The company has not yet provided any official details about the upcoming console or possible backwards compatibility support.

The information comes from Nate the Hate (as spotted by VGC), who has a track record of leaking accurate information about games and consoles. In a reply to a Reddit post about the Nintendo Switch 2, the tipster claimed: “It has backwards compatibility support.”

The tipster’s claim falls in line with earlier reports that said the Switch would arrive with backwards compatibility. A third-party Switch peripherals manufacturer had said back in April that the Nintendo Switch 2 would be backwards compatible with both physical and digital games.

DJI Neo was launched on Thursday as the company’s lightest and most compact drone to date. It boasts capabilities such as subject tracking powered by artificial intelligence (AI), QuickShots, 4K ultra-stabilised video recording and remote-less operation via smartphone pairing. The company also announced an assortment of useful accessories that aid in video recording purposes. India’s CoinSwitch crypto exchange is expanding its services portfolio to now focus on high networth individuals (HNIs) and institutional investors. In an announcement shared on Thursday, September 5 – the Mumbai-headquartered exchange said with this service, it aims to provide HNIs with personalised investment advisory and detailed risk management solutions among other inputs. In India, crypto-related activities like investing, trading, and holding are allowed and they fall under the government’s tax regime.

Bitcoin on Wednesday, September 4 continued to stay substantially under the mark of $60,000 (roughly Rs. 50.3 lakh) after seeing a price decline earlier this week. On both Indian and international exchanges, Bitcoin recorded price drops of around four percent on Wednesday. With this, the asset’s price on global exchanges has reached $56,560 (roughly Rs. 47.4 lakh), according to CoinMarketCap. The page, which is not accessible via a desktop browser, shows some related offers as well, with the phone’s effective price set at Rs. 1,49,499 or Rs. 12,459 per month (on EMI) after bank offers and discounts. Meanwhile, Croma has also listed the Fold on its website.
